Half Term: Fresh Air Feb at The Den

It may be cold, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun both indoors and outdoors this February Half Term!


Mon 18th Feb
Stick Raft Building - 13:30 - 15:00
Work as a team to build your stick raft then put it to the test – will yours sink or float?
Suitable for ages 3+



Tues 19th Feb
Capture the Flag Woodland Challenge – activity start times 13:30 & 14:30
This one will be fun for all the family, as we venture into our woodland Blue team Vs Red team who will capture the flag first?
suitable for ages 5+ children must be accompanied by an adult



Wed 20th Feb
Den Building and Marshmallow Toasting - activity start times 13:30 & 15:00
Join us in the woodland for lots of den building, fire making and marshmallow toasting!
Suitable for ages 3+ children must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up for this activity on arrival at the Welcome Desk

We will also be joined by the RSPB between 11am & 3pm - come and find out information about our local wildlife.



Thurs 21st Feb
Mission at The Den – activity start times 13:30 & 15:00
Join a team, solve the clues and complete our 'Mission at The Den!'
suitable for ages 6+



Fri 22nd Feb
Wildlife Day with The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust – activities available between 11:00-15:00
To Celebrate #NationalWildlifeDay we will be joined by The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Make a bird seed feeder or head into the woodland to take part in the wildlife quiz!
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the woodland quiz
