Food-lovers can get their teeth stuck into the historic city of York at York Food and Drink Festival and savour a menu of creative events. Over 10-days, York Food and Drink Festival will fill Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square with local food and drink producers and activities.
Wander around the festival, sample some delicious produce, catch one of the many demonstrations, learn a new recipe or skill and maybe even find a new favourite place to eat or drink in one of the many accaimed eateries in the city.

The York Food and Drink Festival Taste Trail gives you the opportunity to visit some of the best food and drink venues in York. Each business on the Taste Trail offer a sample of some of their food or drink, with many offer discounts for you to take advantage of. Tickets for the trail can be bought from the Food and Drink Festival eventbrite.
The Drink’s Trail takes you on a tour of the drink’s scene in York. Pick up a leaftlet from the festival's information point on St Sampson's Square at any point during the festival. Guides you around six participating venues, offering alcoholic and soft drinks. Buy a drink at any of the six venues and return your leaflet to the Grazing Cafe on St Sampson's Square and you'll be rewarded with a free 6 month membership of CraftSavvy. This membership gives you discounts at pubs and bars across the city on both food and drink.
Enjoy live music in the Music Marquee on 7 out of 10 nights of York Food and Drink Festival, hosted by the charity York Mind. Money raised during the night will go to support the work they do in the city.
MindFest is on Friday 20 - Sunday 22 September and Wednesday 25 - Saturday 28 September.
On Thursday 26 September, York's independent wine merchants and leading supermarkets will be showing off their wines in St Sampson's Square. This is a ticketed event, which gives you a chance to try wines before you buy. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!
