York Holiday Cottages

About us

We are here to ensure your stay in York is comfortable and memorable for all the right reasons.

When you wake up in one of our cottages you will walk through a doorway into the tangled streets of the uniquely beautiful, historic city of York.

Most of our properties are within a short walk of the ancient city walls, which silently guard the rich mix of independent contemporary shops, high quality eateries and the breathtaking York Minster.

Surprise and delight playfully lurk around every cobbled street corner; sip a morning coffee at Betty’s, travel back to Viking times at the Jorvik Centre, Harry Potter fans should walk the Shambles to the Shop that Must Not be Named, and finish the day with a spine chilling ghost walk down Whip Ma Whop Ma Gate.

Beyond the city walls, The Knavesmire is the finest racecourse in the UK, the National Railway Museum is a only short hop and by using the City as the perfect base, explore the great Yorkshire countryside by visiting the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds.

At the end of the day rest your head on the crisp clean linen and luxurious pillow in one of our hand-picked cottages and look forward to doing it all again in your new home from home.

As we constantly strive for excellence you may rest assured you are in the safest, most caring hands.
