The Judge’s Lodging

About

In a fantastic location, within the shadow of York Minster, the Judges Lodgings is the only Grade 1 listed Georgian Town House hotel within the centre of York and features stylish rooms, popular cellar bar, hearty food and two sun terraces.

Following a recent refurbishment, The Judge’s Lodging has a refreshing and reimagined look. The rooms are each individually designed and rich in detail and style. Comfortable and bespoke all are cosy, classy and characterful. Some have spa baths, and all have en-suite bathrooms. Many afford fabulous views of York Minster. Each room is filled with the small details which make it feel like a home away from home; complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk, comfortable beds and plump pillows and complimentary toiletries.

Our listed Georgian restaurant is perfect for wining and dining. With an updated classic look, it’s a sophisticated place to eat. A delicious menu expertly put together with a new seasonal selection and afternoon tea offering it’s the place to dine. Our atmospheric Cellar Bar with original vaulted ceilings is the perfect place to escape and hunker down for brunch, lunch or a relaxing drink of award-winning cask ale. You’ll also have spacious sun terraces to drink and chill out on.
