The Dovecote Barns York

About

Four five-star self contained self catering holiday barns with all 11 bedrooms on-site ensuite.  Group dining for groups of 12 is facilitated in the Hay Barn and Grand Barn.  For larger groups, the Long Hall can be rented for groups to dine together for up to 22 when renting all four barns. Games room with pool/darts.

The +2 in occupancy below refers to the ability to rent an additional room 'The Sack Store' and add it to your booking of any of the larger barns to increase occupancy by 2 in a king bed with small ensuite.

Multi-award winning converted 18th century eco barns beside the River Ouse. Experience a taste of country living with handmade country kitchens, luxury mattress bedrooms (all en-suite), log stoves and landscaped gardens.

The Grand Barn (Sleeps 8+2) - New for 2021

A brand new conversion which sleeps 8 in 4 ensuite bedrooms.  It is another sustainable barn with huge fully equipped kitchen to allow large group dining preparation for the whole site and larger group dining in the Long Hall.  Click here for details and online booking.

The Irishman's Cottage (Sleeps 2)

The Irishman's Cottage is a cosy cottage for two, with a super-king bed and large ensuite wet room.  Click here for details and online booking.

The Dovecote (Sleeps 4+2)

Set over three floors, The beautiful Dovecote has 2 ensuite bedrooms.  The first floor has a ziplinked super-king/twin beds with shower room and the top floor with it's queen truss beamed ceiling has a king bed with ensuite bath with overhead shower.  Click here for details and online booking.

The Hay Barn (Sleeps 6+2)

This open plan galleried oak framed barn has 3 en-suite bedrooms.  The bedrooms are on the ground floor with two rooms which have ziplinked super-king/twin beds with shower room and the third a king bed with ensuite bath with overhead shower.  Click here for details and online booking.

Being fully equipped to dine a group of 12 in the Hay Barn makes this an ideal venue for groups, whether couples, families or friends when making a group booking of more than one barn.

York city centre a 20 minute drive, or a bus service runs directly from the barns 7 days, with a late night return on a Saturday night.  Also located near the Park and Ride at the Designer Outlet.

A welcome basket of Yorkshire breakfast produce, homemade bread and wine or Prosecco is supplied.
