Suite 10 is on the second floor of a Grade 2 listed building that at one time was a hotel for the traders to the livestock markets in Walmgate. The building retains many of the quirky aspects such as the sloping floors and old fireplaces but excitingly some of the magnificent old features are still in situ saved behind partitioned walls.
Now Suite 10 offers contemporary, spacious accommodation with newly fitted bathrooms and a modern, vibrant galley kitchen. Appointed with a four star Gold Award by Quality in Tourism, you'll be sharing in 100s of years of history while enjoying all the luxury and comfort of the present.
Superbly located on Fossgate, famous foodie street and home to a host of small eclectic shops, Suite 10 is within a few minute's walk of all the attractions that make York one of the UK's leading tourist attractions.
The large main bedroom with en-suite shower room has a Super King zip linked bed to give a two single bed option. The good-sized second bedroom has a double bed and funky retro seating. High quality linens, towels and robes are provided to add to the comfort of our guests.
The galley kitchen has everything needed and expected by an enthusiastic chef, though we think you will be tempted by the eateries right on the doorstep or suggest you let Mr Marks & Mr Spencer's chefs do the work for you and call in at the store two minutes away on Pavement.
You will find a welcome tray on your arrival and fresh milk in the fridge but we would be pleased, if possible, to fill any special requests or shopping lists.
Guest toiletries are provided in the luxuriously newly appointed bathrooms.
We offer Freeview, books, games and DVDs for your enjoyment and also free WiFi and a small office area with printer for those bringing work with them.
Parking is free in our allocated parking space within the courtyard or at a nearby location.
You will be met on arrival by our housekeeper and representative, Jayne who will immediately put you at ease and introduce you to your apartment and share her extensive knowledge of York and how best to explore and enjoy it. It is hard to resist her infectious laughter, disarming charm and wit and she will make sure that your stay meets all your expectations.
We are proud to welcome you to Suite 10 and hope you have a Suite Stay.
