Directions from the North - From the A1(M)Take the junction 49 exit towards Thirsk then turn left towards A168. At the roundabout take the first exit onto A168. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto the A168 ramp to A19, Thirsk, Topcliffe, Teeside. Merge onto the A168 and continue for 6.5 miles then take the A170 ramp to Thirsk, Scarborough, York. At the roundabout take the second exit towards Thirsk town centre. At the mini roundabout turn right (third exit) towards Sutton Bank. Follow this road for 9 miles, passing through Sutton under Whitestone Cliff and Sutton Bank, until you reach the signpost for 'Wass, Ampleforth, Coxwold'. Take this right turn and follow this unmarked road for three quarters of a mile.
