Springwood Shepherd huts are a family run glamping site and are on a small scale. On site we have 3 finished Shepherd Huts and 2 more will be added soon in 2020/21.
Our mission is for our guests to have an enjoyable relaxing stay, and to enjoy the sights and fresh air around. Our Huts have been thought about very carefully to bring the modern luxury comforts.

On entering New Road, Escrick (YO19 6EZ) continue straight on over first set of speed bumps and a private house to the right and over a second set of speed bumps and Springwood Shepherd Huts is the next entrance approx. 100 yards on your right. We have a sign outside and the gate will be open for your arrival to drive straight to your hut.
The Arriva 415 is our local bus route that is every 15/20 minutes, collection points are in Escrick outside the Church or in Deighton not far from the village pub. The bus takes a route that goes into The Designer Outlet and straight into Piccadilly York.
Escrick is the nearest small village 1.2 miles a 20-minute walk. There is a hotel which offers food and a gin bar and a gastro pub. Within the village is a Thai restaurant which offers takeaways and a traditional country pub. A small supermarket within the BP garage offering a Subway, Costa Express and frozen ready 'Cook' meals.
Deighton is a small village 1.2 miles a 20-minute offering a country pub and Fish and Chips takeaway nearby. Several country public footpaths and cycle routes around.
