Recently winner of the Condé Nast Johansens Most Excellent Service Award 2009.

Standing in twenty acres of gardens and parkland, yet five minutes from York City Centre, Middlethorpe Hotel is a delightful William III country house built in 1699. the panelled dining rooms overlooking the gardens and the imaginative food (2 AA rosettes) follows the hotel's theme of traditional excellence.

Special packages are also available and there is a health and beauty spa with indoor pool, gymnasium and treatment rooms

Road Directions

By Road:
On the A64 follow signs to York West, then follow the signs to Bishopthorpe, and Middlethorpe. Middlethorpe Hall is signposted on the right.

By Public Transport:
Bus number 11 (Indigo Line) runs every half an hour and stops right outside the Hotel. Taxis are also readily available for the 10 minute journey.
