About us

Built in 1299, Lendal Tower is one of the most unique holiday rentals in the UK. Located on the banks of the River Ouse, this 700 year old grade 1 listed ancient scheduled monument provides a luxurious and elegant stay in the heart of York.

The Tower has three superb bedrooms spread over four floors of amazing history and a roof terrace that offers unrivalled views across the City of York.

A fully modern kitchen and a comfortable living room also mean you shall not be short of the creature comforts. A large dining table can accommodate up to 6 people if you decide to stay in and make use of the kitchen.

Lendal Tower also offers a tranquil private garden and a secure private garage that can hold up to two vehicles.

Being located only a couple of minutes walk from York train station, Lendal Tower is ideally situated for you to explore both the City of York and the surrounding area.

We offer chauffeur driven pick ups and drop offs from anywhere in mainland Britain and can also organise private tours upon request. Additionally, we can arrange golf days at some of the best courses in North Yorkshire.

if you feel like cooking but don't want the hassle of having to shop, you can order one of our great selection of food and drink hampers which we source from connections with weetons food hall based in harrogate.

Cedar Court Spa is located a 2 minute walk away over Lendal Bridge and we have brochures available in the Tower.

There is a large Roof Terrace located at the top of the Tower.

Golf days can be arranged prior to arrival.

Chauffeur driven transfers to and from the Tower can be arranged prior to arrival.

Chauffeur driven tours of North Yorkshire can be arranged prior to arrival.
