Family time at Keldy Cabins

About us

Forest hHolidays allow you to discover yourselves again. Away from the bustle of everyday life you can relax in unique woodland surroundings. You can unwind, reconnect and escape.

Staying in cabins at Keldy, exclusively on Forestry Commission land, means you can choose to completely unwind in stunning natural surroundings, maybe in your hot tub, or for those more active, walk or cycle through woodland. The choice is yours.

Keldy is a peaceful location, deep in a wooded valley, comprising 59 cabins. Choose from a range of cabins sleeping from 2-6 people including the great value Copper Beech, to the Silver Birch with hot tub, or the luxurious Golden Oak cabins’ which include a hot tub, log burner, towels for all guests and robes and slippers in the master bedroom. Or choose to stay in the Golden Oak Treehouse which sleeps up to 8 people. Fancy a romantic break? Stay in the Golden Oak Keldy Cottage built for 2 people and includes a hot tub and sauna.

The Forest Retreat is the heart of Keldy and here you will find a delightful snack and coffee bar, and a well-stocked shop. Activities at Keldy include bicycle hire, archery and guided walks with Forest Rangers plus the nearby Go Ape Tree Top Adventure at Dalby Forest.

With a whole host of nearby attractions you really are spoilt for choice from the lovely market town of Pickering to travelling by steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to the seaside town of Whitby. Or why not visit the city of York for a day which is just under an hour away?

Keldy is also a great location for corporate away days. For more information please visit: http://www.forestholidays.co.uk/types-of-holiday/corporate-retreats
