About us

Located on the tranquil area known as 'The Mount' Hotel du Vin York is a beautiful grade II listed building that dates back to the early 19th century. Formerly a private home and orphanage, the hotel offers 44 stylish bedrooms and suites, the HdV trademark bistro, bar, private dining rooms and a newly refurbished courtyard.

Housed within this impressive building are 44 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs, DVDs and air conditioning.


Please be advised there are limited car parking space available onsite on a first come first serve basis for residents only. This is charged at £10.00 per car per night inclusive of VAT. Alternatively guests are advised to use the Queen Street NCP or the Nunnery Lane car park.
