Close to the city centre and within easy reach of the road-rail network, Hedley House Hotel provides modern comfortable surroundings and outstanding personal service.

Built in the heart of the Victorian city, many of our rooms still include the original fireplace features combined with en-suite facilities, hospitality trays and digital widescreen TVs.

Our intimate award winning licensed restaurant is a great place to spend an evening or start the night. Serving a range of home cooked meals, snacks and light bites. Using award winning ingredients, vegetarian options and fish available every evening.

For outdoor types we provide a superb BBQ area, sauna accompanied with an outdoor shower and a six person outdoor aqua spa on a garden deck.

Conference facilities capable of catering for up to 16 delegates have recently been installed; wireless internet access is available for business or pleasure Free of charge in the hotel lounge.

Owned and run by the Harrand family since 1984, Hedley House Hotel is the perfect base from which to visit historic York and the surrounding countryside. We have our own off street car park and lock up garages, important in a city where parking is limited. You might even bump into the stage stars that stay with us while they tread the boards in York's theatre land.
