Cherry Hill Suite is in the prestigious Bishops Wharf development on the bank of the River Ouse. It is ideal for visiting the city center, just over Skeldergate Bridge with Clifford's Tower in one's sights and also enjoying stunning walks along the river. Just around the corner is the upcoming trendy area on Bishopthorpe Road with its small cafes, intimate restaurants, heritage pub and shops.
All the attractions that have made York one of the UK's leading tourist destinations are just a short walking distance from Cherry Hill Lane. And within minutes one is next to the river and can join the Trans Pennine Trail, check out the routes suggested by RunEngland 321 or discover the hidden treasures on The New Walk along The River Ouse.
Recently appointed with a four star Gold Award, Cherry Hill Suite has just been entirely remodeled with new shower room, modern well-equipped kitchen, and the original two bedrooms have been knocked into one to give a spacious master bedroom with a generous working desk/vanity table. The Super King sized zip link bed gives a two single bed option.
The decoration boasts contemporary elegance finished to high specs with sleek lines and will appeal to those with modern taste but who give comfort high priority or business executives looking for more than a hotel for a business trip. Quality linens, towels, robes and guest toiletries add to the luxury.

By Air. Leeds and Bradford airport is 31 miles away and a taxi from the airport, door to door costs about £63.00. Manchester Airport has good rail connections with York and taxi and car hire is also available. By Rail. Cherry Hill Suite is a ten-minute walk from York Station. On leaving the Station turn right along Queen Street. With the City walls on your left, continue to the traffic lights. Micklegate will be to your left. Cross at the lights into Nunnery lane and walk along that road, always keeping to the walls on your left, until you reach the second set of traffic lights. Cross Bishopthorpe Road diagonally into Clementhorpe (The Swan Pub is on the corner) and walk for fifty yards to the first little road on your left. This is Cherry Hill Lane. No 12 is in the first building on your left with the black and glass atrium entrance. By Car. From A64 take A19 towards York city centre along Fulford Road. On reaching the City, Fulford Road becomes Fishergate and then Tower Street as it crosses over the River Foss. Keep in the left hand lane at all times and cross over The River Ouse at Skeldergate Bridge into Bishopthorpe Road. Almost immediately after the bridge, take the first turn on the left at The Swan Pub onto Clementhorpe. Just before The Slip Inn turn left into Postern Close. Turn left towards the parking area and our representative will be there to meet you and show you the parking space.
The centre of the city can be reached on foot by turning right out of the entrance along the paved lane and on to the main road and bridge across the River Ouse towards Cliffords Tower and the Museum. The Castlegate Shopping Centre and The Jorvik Centre is diagonally to your left.
