Our apartment is in the perfect location for visiting York. It is an 8 minute walk away from York Railway Station and is right next to the iconic York City Walls. You can go for walks down the river or through the beautiful Museum Gardens, both located only a 1 minute walk away.

There is an award winning restaurant on the same street but you are also only a stones throw away from all that York City Centre has to offer! There is permit parking for 1 car during your stay, and a 24 hour car park on the same street as well (Marygate).

Whether you are here for business or a holiday, our apartment is the perfect base for your time here. You have your own bedroom, lounge, dining table and fully equipped kitchen.

Road Directions

Driving: using the postcode YO30 7DX will bring you down the street Marygate, where you will drive next to the York City Bar Walls (on your left). Continue until you see the Roots restaurant on your right, the road bends/ turns right just before the restaurant where you will see the sign for Chamber House on your right. You will find marked on street parking bays outside the Roots restaurant and up the street. You may park 1 car in any Zone 12 parking bay, then go into the apartment to get a permit to put into your car.

Public Transport Directions

Directions from York Railway Station: turn left out of the station, follow the road until you come to a bridge (over a river) on your left. Walk over the bridge and continue. You will come to the entrance to Museum Gardens on your left. Walk through Museum Gardens (baring slightly left) until you reach the exit on the other side. Walk left down Marygate until you see the Roots restaurant. Turn right just before the restaurant and you will see the sign for Chamber House on your right.
