Bootham Court is nestled in a peaceful backwater which lies between bustling Bootham and the tranquil banks of the River Ouse, centrally located this is the ideal base to explore York and beyond. This contemporary top (second) floor apartment has a boutique hotel feel having undergone a programme of renovation and remodelling. Furnished predominantly at Barker and Stonehouse It comfortably sleeps 4 people, having one restful double bedroom with new high end furnishings, pocket sprung mattress, anti-allergy pillows/duvet and black out blind to the double glazed sash window. The new modern luxury bathroom complimented by a spa shower with waterfall, rain and hand options. Heated LED mirror along with walnut vanity units topped off with a semi inset basin and waterfall tap. The open plan living area has a double, easy action sofa bed (transforms into a double (king) or two singles), designer leather corner sofa, Samsung 40" curved screen HD smart TV, (why not stream a movie or your favourite programmes over the free WIFI,), dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board, microwave and electric ovens all complimented by black granite work tops. Dining is done on the uber on trend designer industrial dining crank table with four designer seats, 2 distressed chairs and 2 1950's style tractor seat stools.

This luxury property has partial Minster views framed beautifully by the lounge wooden double glazed sash window wrapped with designer velvet full length curtains. the view of the Minster can be obscured in summer as we are blessed being surrounded by mature trees. With proper central heating radiators you will be toasties warm in the winter and as it has a dual aspect living area keeping a through breeze is no problem in the mid-summer either, free off-street allocated parking is included however no need for the car as it's only around a 5 to 10 minute stroll from York railway station via a footbridge, indeed it's less than a 10 minute walk to most of the top attractions including; York Minster, river boat tours, open top bus trips, ghost walks, shops, restaurants and pubs and a host of other city centre attractions. Nearest good pub serving traditional food/ales is around a two or three minute walk, as is the Sainsburys local supermarket, Yorkshire museum, museum gardens, art gallery and restaurants. This is an exclusive part of the city where many properties are valued in millions, the neighbouring hotels are open to non-residents for breakfast, meals and spa treatments too! The biggest decision is what route to take, stroll down to the end of the street and along the river bank walk past the motor cruisers and boats to Lendel Bridge and why not call in at The Star in the city exclusive bar/restaurant with its elevated decking area over looking the river on the way? Alternatively take a walk though the stunning museum gardens past ancient remains or simply enjoy magnificent views of the majestic Minster as you walk along Bootham.

 York offers an array of things to do and see, climb to the roof of York Minster and enjoy the spectacular views, descend into the spine chilling York dungeon, tickle your taste buds in the host of eateries, be it fine dining or food festivals, real ale pubs, micro brewery's or afternoon tea at the world famous Betty's tea room, if you fancy something more contemporary there's Jamie Oliver's restaurant or a plethora of others too. York is famed for it chocolate so try your hand as a chocolatier at York cocoa house or what about a pottery class! offers you the chance of being an archaeologist for a day, but take a change of clothes! The entrance serves only 2 other property's (all below) so with no neighbours above or to the sides you should have a peaceful stay! Road Directions

Turn off Bootham (A19) onto Bootham Terrace.  Take the first drive on the right.  The first parking space on the right.  

From the railway station, walk through the car park adjacent to platform 2.  Down the ramp, onto the river bank, over the river using the footbridge attached to the railway bridge.  Pass back under the railway bridge at the other side, taking the first footpath on the right.  Walk around 400 metres, and Bootham Bolt Hole (Bootham Court) can be found on the left, just before the end of the street.
