About us

A friendly welcome awaits you at Airden House- only 4 minutes walk to the heart of the City Centre.

Unwind in one of our tastefully decorated bedrooms. Our Superior rooms have excellent en-suite facilities with power showers, heated towel rails & marble finishing.

All rooms are en-suite and have TV's, thermostatically controlled heating, constant hot water, hair dryers, soft towels, toiletries & beverage making facilities.

Airden House has parking and is completely non-smoking.

Our Superior rooms have hand crafted bespoke furniture with deluxe beds to ensure a good nights sleep. Soak up the relaxed atmosphere with luxurious furnishings & reading lights on dimmer switches. After a good nights sleep enjoy our traditional English breakfast using excellent local produce, served by welcoming staff in our sunny Victorian Dining Room ensuring a relaxed informal atmosphere. Dietary requirements are also catered for.

Our hearty breakfast makes an excellent start to a day of sightseeing & shopping. York is a beautiful city with something for everyone. Walk along the medieval walls, wander the narrow streets with their ancient buildings or spend some time in the Minster, the largest gothic Cathedral in Northern Europe.

Road Directions

By Road:

Follow the A1237 (York outer ring road) to the A19 north roundabout. Follow the signs for the A19 city centre. Keep on this road and on seeing Churchill's Hotel on your left - take the second turning on your right into St Mary's. Airden House is the first house on your left.
