Our house is in the perfect location for visiting York. It is inside the iconic York City Walls and a short distance away from the famous Castle Museum. You can go for walks down the river or through the beautiful Museum Gardens. You are also only a stones throw away from all that York City Centre has to offer! There is permit parking for 1 car during your stay, and a 24 hour car park on the same street as well (Peel Street). Whether you are here for business or a holiday, our apartment is the perfect base for your time here. You have your own bedroom, lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

Road Directions

Driving: using the postcode YO1 9QA will bring you down the street George Street, where you will drive past terrace houses. Number 27 is clearly signposted. You will find marked on street parking bays down the street. You may park 1 car in any Zone 18 parking bay, then go into the house to get a permit to put into your car.

Public Transport Directions

Directions from York Railway Station: turn left out of the station, follow the road until you come to a bridge (over a river) on your left. Don’t walk over the bridge, bear right down Rougier Street. You will come to the entrance to Museum Gardens on your left. Continue straight, to the end of the road, and then turn left. Continue on this road, crossing a bridge (over a river). When the road takes a sharp right at traffic lights, continue straight on the footpath – away from the main road. Continue on High Ousegate until there is a right bend in the path onto Piccadilly. Turn left onto Dixon Lane (the 5th turning on your left). Take a left onto George Street and number 27 is on your right.
