Wild and Westbrooke is an independent, family run, ladies clothing store. We would love to welcome you to our unique store, here in the beautiful city of York.

We offer a wide range of clothing and accesories to be worn in town or country. Our focus is on quintessentially British fashion, using high quality tweeds, leathers and suedes. 

Stocking brands such as Holland Cooper, Fairfax and Favor, Dubarry and much more.


Holland Cooper, a popular brand featuring tailored tweed garments, British made using the finest Scottish tweeds and their recently introduced sports range of tees, hoodies, joggers and padded coats. 

Fairfax and Favor boasts a range of beutifully crafted bags, boots and accesories made from the finest leathers and suedes that look and feel fantastic. We stock a large collection, the perfect luxurious addition to any wardrobe. 

Dubarry are particularly well known for the practicality of their leather boots, which look great but are also waterproof. Combining traditional craftmanship with modern technology they have created the ultimate boots to last you a very long time.

Road Directions

Our nearest carpark is Marygate Carpark - YO30 7DT located off Bootham (approx. 5 minute walk), here you can pay by card or cash once you have finished your visit. From here you can walk through the museum gardens towards town. When you reach the gardens main entrance, Lendal is directly opposite and our shop is just a few metres down Lendal on the left. 

The Park and Ride from Rawcliffe Bar also stops outside the Museum Gardens if you prefer to park out of town. 

Blue badge holders can reach us via the one way system by driving down Blake Street, turning right through St Helens Square and then right onto Lendal. We are at the far end of Lendal, parking is available just over the road from the shop for those with a blue bagde.

Public Transport Directions

Wild & Westbrooke is approximately a 10 miute walk from York Train Station. When exiting the station head left and follow the directions for York City Centre. You will cross over the river via Lendal bridge, turn right just after the bridge onto Lendal, which is opposite the Museum Gardens entrance. We are situated a few metres down Lendal on the left.

We are also easily accesible by bus, there are many bus routes which stop nearby. Our nearest stops are Museum Street, Exhibition Square Interchange, Theatre Royal and Station Avenue.
