Road Directions

By car Post code for satnav: YO32 9GX From Scarborough, Malton, Leeds and the A1 Follow the A64 signed York to the first roundabout. Turn right signed york. Turn left at the next roundabout (a1036 & monks cross south.) At the next roundabout turn right to monks cross shopping park. From Harrogate and the a1 (north) Follow the a59 signed york to the first roundabout. Turn left onto the a1237. Go straight on until you see the sign for monks cross shopping park then turn right. Parking Monks cross offers free parking for customers. If you plan to stay for longer than 4 hours, please report to the information centre to register your vehicle with us if you wish to stay longer.

By bus There are plenty of buses that come right to monks cross. Current services include (9) silver line P&R, (20) university-mx-Clifton moor-Acomb, (12/14) mx-york-Foxwood lane. For up-to-date bus information call 01904 551400. By bicycle With lots of cycle routes into and around monks cross and bicycle parking facilities located adjacent to the walkways, getting here by bike is easy. Accessible by Public Transport: York station is 4.8 miles away.
