York’s Chocolate Celebrates its 5th Birthday!

York’s Chocolate Story turns 5 on Friday March 31st and is celebrating with balloons, cake (chocolate of course) and just £5 entry all day.

The attraction opened in 2012 as a visitor experience to showcase York’s unique chocolate history. In the last 5 years the attraction has welcomed celebrities, royalty and hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world.

York’s chocolate Story has also received national media attention for inventing the world’s hottest chocolate bar, detonating the world’s first Chocolate Bomb as well as creating countless chocolate novelties.

The attraction has also hosted very successful exhibits such as Chocolate on the Home Front which explored the significant role the cities factories played in the first world war, Chocolate and the People of York, and this year’s exhibition 250 Years of Terry’s.
