Scampston Hall’s Big Vintage Weekend

After the roaring success of last year, Scampston Hall’s Big Vintage Weekend returns on 13 and 14 June.

This year the festivities begin on Saturday with a traditional tea dance, set in the manicured lawns of the regency Scampston Hall near Malton; home of the Legard family and frequented by Mary Queen of Scotts. An array of live music on the terrace and cocktails in the garden will follow.

On Sunday a classic car rally hosted by NECPWA will circle the house; alongside they’ll be a selection of the best vintage stalls, music on the terrace, lindy hop dancing and traditional children’s games to name a few of the nostalgic delights. To top it all off every visitor will get free entry into the award winning walled gardens.

So, grab your trilbies, put your hair up in victory rolls and shine up your chassis, as the Legard family will be presenting a rosette for the best car ‘Scampston Choice’ as well a prize for the best-dressed visitor!
To make a weekend of it why not camp in the grounds, or even glamp in a fabulous Brook Bell tent. For more details, or to buy reduced price early bird tickets take a look at the website.
