You want your day special day to be a time of joyous celebration and there's no more fitting place to let friends and loved ones share it than Sandburn Hall. 

The spectacular oak-framed Grand Function Hall with stunning views across the golf course, fountain and lakes provides a truly romantic setting.

We can look after your day from start to finish. Our Grand Function Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies so that you can make your vows beneath the arched window, overlooking the beautiful lakes and fairways. You could also choose to hold your ceremony in Sandburn Hall's blossoming White Rose Garden under the folly.  Surrounded by the colourful scented flowers and birds singing you will be amazed by this romantic setting! 

Your Wedding Co-ordinator will personally greet you and ensure that all your special touches are organised.  Our friendly and efficient team will be looking after your guests and ensuring that everything runs smoothly, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.

Road Directions

By Road: Sandburn Hall is within easy reach of York (8 miles) and the villages of Flaxton (1.5 miles) and Strensall (5 miles). Approaching York from the North(A1/A19/A59) take the A1237 ring road and follow the signs for A64 Scarborough. Take the A64 for approximately 5 miles. Take the turning left to Flaxton village. The next turning on your left is the Sandburn Hall If you are approaching from the south( A1/M1/ M62/A1079) take the A64 dual carriageway towards Scarborough. When it becomes single carriageway continue for approximately 5 miles and look for the Flaxton turn off to the left and follow the directions as above.
