Access For All - Mobility Information

York is one of England's finest and most beautiful historic cities. The city is a mixture of Medieval, Georgian and Victorian streets and buildings which support York’s shops, attractions, restaurants, pubs, accommodation, leisure facilities and festivals. With a centrally located station, York is an ideal place to travel to by train and come to enjoy the city's vibrant café culture, take some time to enjoy the museums and attractions or simply watch the world go by while sitting by the river.

Despite the historical nature of the city, many of York’s buildings and services are accessible to disabled people. York has a range of services available for those in need of extra support during their time in the city as well as an excellent range of hotels, B&Bs and self catering options to accommodate guests with access and equipment needs. York is fun and diverse city with plenty to do and should not be missed.
