Prepare for a live, interactive theatrical quest around the cobbled streets of historic York. With the aid of our cast you will be hunting for clues to find the secret location of our magic school where you will learn how to cast spells and enjoy an eccentric, themed afternoon tea.
Special effects, professionally trained actors and our grade 1 listed, medieval wizard school make this an experience you will never forget!

Our quests change throughout the seasons offering young witches and wizards the opportunity to learn about the next chapter in our characters story.
On your adventure you will guided by our professor of the dark arts. Other witches and wizards will greet you throughout your quest and teach you the magical spells you will need to find the secret location of our magic school.
Dressing up is encouraged! The full experience lasts around 2 hours, with the tour around York lasting around 40 minutes.

Our Meeting point is located in the heart of York in King’s Square at the top of the Shambles.If you are coming from Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate head to the top of the shambles and turn right and then left onto King’s Square .
If you are coming from the Minster head down Petergate and Low Petergate, until you reach King’s Square You will Exit the tour/ experience in close proximity to York Train Station and the Grand hotel.
By Car
There is no allocated parking for our tour as the attraction is located in the heart of York’s historic city centre. We would suggest using either city centre car parks or the city’s .There are multiple locations to park in York we would recommend to Park closer to the end of the Experience by the York Train station or in close proximity.
