This February, York Ice Trail returns for another unforgettable weekend, as Legends Unleashed takes over the city.
For 2027, the trail will bring legendary stories and characters to life through a spectacular collection of ice sculptures across York. Inspired by history and folklore, each sculpture will offer something new to discover as you explore the city. Completely free of charge, this is a fun, affordable and accessible way to explore York.
The Visit York Visitor Information Centre will once again be on hand throughout the weekend to help you make the most of your York Ice Trail adventure. Along the way, York’s cafés, restaurants, shops and attractions offer plenty of places to relax and warm up between sculptures.
