Bee a bug detective and join the garden team to investigate tree residents on Tuesday 2, 16 & 30 August.

First you shake it, see what falls and then use an ID chart to try to identify your new friends. Perfect to tick off number 31 of the '50 things to do before you're 11 3/4' playlist - get to know a bug. Once you've done, the bugs will be given the time to crawl back into the tree and carry on with their day. Drop in sessions are at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Normal admissions charges apply or free to National Trust and RHS members and under-fives.

Plan your visit and see what else is on for families here.
