Join sensory storytelling and a family singalong at York Minster, as part of the cathedral’s activity for Autism Acceptance Week.
Visitors will have the chance to experience York Minster’s medieval Chapter House draped in colourful fabric as they are immersed in story-telling and music.
The enjoyable and memorable event, will be accessible for children and families of all needs and abilities, including those with neurodiverse conditions (including autism and other sensory processing difficulties). The activities will be delivered by York-based company Toolbox Drama Cic, who specialise in providing creative arts activities for people with additional needs.
Tickets for this event must be booked in advance and are available here.
Tickets cost £2.50 per person, with a group ticket available for four people priced at £8.00. Carer tickets are available free of charge by ringing 01904 557200.

General visiting:
Mon – Sat: 9.30am – 4.00pm (last admission 3.30pm)
Sun: 12.45pm – 3.15pm (last admission at 2.45pm).
