About
Join Sensory Saturday at York Minster and discover the cathedral through singing, acting, storytelling, music and movement as part of the cathedral’s activity for Autism Acceptance Week.
Families can explore a sound installation in the medieval Chapter House as they are bathed in the waves of a sound bath. Throughout the day, interactive sessions will take place, with dance and sensory music making in the Chapter House, and storytelling in St Stephen’s Chapel.
The activities will be delivered by York-based company Toolbox Drama Cic, who specialise in providing creative arts activity for people with additional needs.
Entry to the events are included with general admission. Entry to York Minster is free for children and York residents with valid proof of address.
