About

Take an hour-long walk on Friday 16 or Saturday 17 September and talk to National Trust Regional Archaeologist Mark Newman to revisit the latest garden excavations. Were there ever more wings attached to the hall? What did the garden look like before? As part of Heritage Open Days, join Mark, who contributed with the experts on The Great British Dig following filming last summer. Revisit the researched areas and listen to his interpretation of the results so far.

Sessions start at 11:00, 13:00 or 15:00, pre-book the 11am session online or sign up on the day as you prefer.

It's free to visit for Heritage Open Days. Plan your day out at Beningbrough.
