So many people have made heroic efforts to keep the country running throughout the pandemic, and railway workers are no exception. Celebrate some of their stories in National Railway Museum's new exhibition, Railway Heroes. The new exhibition showcases the stories of just some of the railway workers who have helped get key workers to and from their jobs and given back to their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meet people like Jolene, a Train Driver who temporarily returned to her role as a paramedic, working one week on the trains and one week in hospital wards. Or Hussain, a Train Manager who saw passenger levels dramatically drop during his time at work, and the number of people using foodbanks rise when he was volunteering in his community. Book your free admission tickets for National Railway Museum on their website. You will find this exhibition in their Great Hall.
