Art & Culture, Museum Open Days

This is your chance to sit in some of our most loved aircraft. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to strap into an ejector seat on a Tornado Jet, or what really goes on aboard the secretive Nimrod surveillance and reconnaissance jet, here’s your chance to find out. We will also have cockpits open on the Harrier, Lightning, Vampire, Meteor, Buccaneer, Mirage 3, Dakota and Argus (subject to change). This event takes place alongside the normal running of the museum, therefore general admission prices apply for museum entry (re-admission tickets are valid and any tickets purchased are valid for re-entry for 12 months). An additional charge of £5 per person buys you a wristband to gain entry to all the above cockpits. Your time in each cockpit will be limited to 10 minutes at busy times.
