About
Explore the medieval St Cuthbert Window through a new exhibition which tells the story of the life and miracles of one of Northern England’s most significant saints.
Learn about the cathedral’s project starting in 2021 to conserve the 600-year-old window, which is one of the largest surviving narrative windows in Europe and among the finest remaining examples of the art and techniques of medieval glaziers and stonemasons.
Take the rare opportunity to see at close range original stained glass panels removed from the window as part of the conservation and restoration project.
Free with general admission.
