About
Join us as we pay homage to Spain’s Calçotada festival; a winter feast dedicated to celebrating Catalonia’s famous Calçots.
A Calçot is a cross between a leek and a spring onion. They'll arrive at your table on terracotta tiles wrapped in newspaper. Peel the outer layer off with your fingers, dip it in romesco sauce, tip your head back and lower the Calçot into your mouth to enjoy.
They’re messy, delicious and the ultimate in finger food as they’re eaten with just your hands.
Calçots are predominantly celebrated in Catalonia, which also happens to be Cava region! Try the two together and it’s easy to see why these feasts are so abundant with cava and calçots. So, in true Catalonian style, we’ll have the cava flowing while you tuck into our chargrilled sweet onions.
Their winter festival is all about provenance and celebrating the region’s high-quality ingredients. We’ll therefore also be serving traditional Catalonian dishes alongside our calçots that showcase the best the region has to offer.
In true Spanish fashion, you’ll experience our Calçotada like they do in Catalonia, just indoors instead of outside; we’ll be joining our tables and all our guests will be dining together, indulging in Cava poured from a Porron, dining banquet-style with wonderful food coming out on large platters for all to enjoy together.
