Merry Mouse and the Lost Parcel Trail (for ages 3+) – Help Merry Mouse find her presents before it's too late…
Christmas Word Hunt (for ages 7+) - Can you find the clues to discover the missing words?
Set within the National Park Centre grounds, both trails are running daily (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) from 10.30am - 3pm. No booking required. Pick up your adventure trail map from the front desk - £5 per trail.
Santa goes virtual
Santa’s so busy this year, we’re holding a virtual grotto so no-one misses out!
Drop-in to the National Park Centre between 11am and 3pm on 27-28 November, 4-5 and 11-12 December to see Santa. Free event, no booking required.
Magical Woodland Journey (Sunday 19 December)
A storytelling adventure, among a dark and mysterious woodland, is coming to The Moors National Park Centre!
As the night draws in, collect a lantern before heading out along an enchanted trail with the ‘Lady of the Landscape’. On your way, characters, such as ‘The Keeper of the Light’, will be woven through the landscape sharing ancient tales of our connection with nature. This truly magical experience promises to capture the imagination of all who enter.
First trail leaves at 3.45pm. Second trail leaves at 5.45pm. Tickets cost £10, including refreshments. Booking essential.
After the trail, head to the Park Life Café for a tasty treat and drink (all included), before heading into the National Park Centre gift shop for an exclusive after hours shopping experience – perfect for those last minute Christmas presents!
