Learn how to turn freshly made chocolate into a whole range of chocolate treats learning the skills of tempering through to creating chocolate bars, truffles, pralines, fondants, caramels and a whole host of filled chocolate products. We'll share with you the secrets of moulding chocolate to create a whole range of shapes and designs. Participants will take home approximately 2 kg of their own chocolate recipe and creations together with lots of hints and tips to be able to make chocolates easily at home.

This 2 day workshop covers the basic principles of being a chocolatier this is a perfect introduction for a budding chocolate maker, chocolatier or baker to train and develop their skills and understanding of the chocolate making process.

During the workshop you will:

  • Learn how chocolate is made from the cocoa beans
  • Learn the basic principles of tempering chocolate
  • Learn how to make your own traditional chocolate truffles and ganache filled chocolates to your own recipes
  • Learn how to make a range of traditional filled chocolates exploring the art of sugar boiling to create caramels, fondants and pralines.
  • Prepare tempered chocolate for making truffles, chocolate bars and moulded chocolates
  • Create chocolate decorations, shapes and lollipops
  • Beautifully wrap your creations to take home and enjoy
  • Go home with recipes and your newly found chocolate making skills

What will you take away with you?

Each participant will take home approximately 2 Kg of your own chocolate creations as well as the recipes and skills to be able to make your own at home.

Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. Please note that we recommend that children under 12 years accompanied by a full paying adult participant
