Back by popular demand… A Christmas Carol: An Evening with Ebenezer Scrooge
About this event
Join us on the snow-covered cobbles of Kirkgate for an immersive and intimate production of A Christmas Carol, which brings the magic of a much-loved Dickens classic to life.
Discover the true meaning of Christmas with Scrooge, enjoy the sounds of carols from a local choir, or even sing along! Chat to our Victorian shopkeepers and soak up the atmosphere of a Victorian Christmas. All this and ideas for games and activities to take home with you so you too can keep Christmas in true Victorian style.
On Tuesday 20th December our choir will be Hands and Voices who will sign along with their singing, and our performance of A Christmas Carol will have British Sign Language interpretation.
On Wednesday 21st December our choir will be Acomb Community Choir and there will be no BSL interpretation.
Tickets are £20 and include a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine or a soft drink on arrival. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis, although seats for those with mobility difficulties can be reserved.
