With original vaulted ceilings and welcoming atmosphere the Judges Lodgings Cellar Bar is packed full of history and charm.

Our chefs prepare fresh food daily in our kitchens and offer a range of dishes inspired by the great local produce of York and further afield. Whether you are after a light bar snack or something more substantial there is plenty of fresh food that will satisfy your appetite.
It is hard to miss us thanks to the impressive sight of our Grade II listed Georgian building and busy outdoor terrace, but if you do have to seek us out we are ideally placed in the heart of York City centre meaning the Judges Lodgings Cellar Bar is the perfect resting place if you just fancying popping in for a drink. We offer a wide range of cask ales, world beer, wine and bubbles- along with some fabulous softies too!
