Discover the history of York's beer & pub heritage and much more by taking a guided walk through York City Centre. Each walk covers the history of approximately 15 pubs as well as the centuries of events, people (and spirits) associated with them. The guide is an experienced volunteer city guide. Walks start from Minstergate YO1 7LG at the junction of College Street and Goodramgate. Tours last for approx. 2 hours.
Booking is preferred but it is advisable to ring 07592547326 if you have not booked.
To maintain Covid safety group size is limited to 10 (exc guide), participants are asked to maintain social distancing requirements and are asked to have a face mask available to wear if required. Private tours are also offered for groups of 6 or more on mutually convenient dates as well as those published. All money raised from the walks will support Keep Your Pet, a charity run by Age Uk York in collaboration with RSPCA York & District. This project has been established to help older people look after their pets at times of health or other difficulties. Further information can be obtained through contacting Keith Martin on 07592547326 or email@example.com
