York Dungeon - Dick's Back!
Get ready to journey back through 2000 Years of York's darkest History as you see, hear and (ahem) smell the cities murky past! But beware, as DICK'S BACK! That's right peasants, hold on to your valuables! The York Dungeon is rife with rumours of highwaymen prowling the area...and the most vicious one of all is said to have returned.
Prepare to also come face to face with the mighty Vikings and learn all about their Saxon enemies before meeting some of York’s most notorious characters including the (in)famous Guy Fawkes and local witch Isabella Billington, as history is brought to life before your eyes!
Feel the dark shadows of the black plague and experience the fearsome torture chamber as you laugh, learn and scream your way through the cities most ‘orrible history!
With live actors, dark history, immersive sets and amazing special effects… the only question is are you brave enough to step into the depths of the York Dungeon?

Younger peasants must be aged 5 and over, however the York Dungeon is not recommended for under 8's.

IT’S DARKER, IT’S SCARIER... IT’S DUNGEON LATES!
The York Dungeon is opening into the darker hours of the night to bring back its infamous Dungeon Lates 18+ nights!
Running every Saturday from 13th January to 2nd November 2024, and lasting for around 75 minutes, you and your despicable group will be led through our Dungeon Shows, but this time with even more twists and turns and saucier jokes than usual, you won’t know whether to laugh or scream! And now featuring an exclusive extra show, Body Snatchers, and a return of our 2022 Halloween exclusive show Séance!
The York Dungeon Lates mashes up theatre, special effects and intriguing storytelling with wit, humour, and plenty of edge of the seat surprises for an after-hours experience like no other!
Expect more scares, saucy banter, cheekier jokes and even… well, we’ll let you find out for yourself.
