About Us
The Sleeper Market is situated on the Sleeper Path in New Earswick, adjacent to St. Andrews Church on Huntington Road leading down to Station Avenue. New Earswick is the Joseph Rowntree "garden village" established in 1904 just a few miles north of York city centre. The market is a set up to enhance the local and wider community and is free to stand for sellers. It also supports and promotes local charities. It is run through volunteers of the New Earswick Resident Forum with full support from the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust. Pleasant and friendly, the market takes place on the first Sunday of each month (except January) with parking facilities at the Folk Hall or Hogshead public house.
Many varied stalls each month of Art and Craft samples, free entry the public.
Open from 10am until 2.30pm.
