The Rise Restaurant, Terrace & Bar is based at The Grand, York. Committed to serving the best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, freshly prepared in the open kitchen, The Rise offers delicious British favourites, with a Yorkshire twist.
Whether you’re visiting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, The Rise is the ideal spot to meet, relax, celebrate and drink with views across the city walls and an outdoor terrace which is perfect for the warmer months.
The renowned Grand Afternoon Tea is also available in The Rise, with fresh handmade scones and sandwiches with an expansive selection of coffees and teas, as well as Champagne and Prosecco upgrade options.
The bar offers local beers, hand-selected wines and signature cocktails, with a programme of live music throughout the year.
The Rise Restaurant Terrace & Bar is open to both residents and non-residents.
