The Oak Room at Middlethorpe Hall & Spa

About Us
The National Trust’s Middlethorpe Hall, is a William & Mary country house close to the city and set in 20 acres of its own gardens and parkland. Built in 1699, it was once home of the famous diarist, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu.
The panelled dining rooms, overlooking the south lawn, and the imaginative food, praised in the guide books, follow the hotel theme of traditional excellence. There are rooms available for private luncheon and dinner parties.
The Dining Rooms are open to non-resident guests for:
Luncheon (three-courses £40.00 on Sundays) or Al-fresco during the summer months;
Afternoon-tea (traditional afternoon tea £31.00) served in the 18th century Drawing Room or on the terrace;
Candle-lit dinner (A la carte options, three-course seasonal menu £60, two-course seasonal menu £45) in the panelled dining rooms;
Award-winning extensive wine list.
