The Enchantment Chamber offers a unique self catering experience within an authentic wizarding world bed chamber complete with an unconventional four poster bed, realistic open fire, real wood flooring and furnished with an eclectic collection of magical artefacts from the wizarding world.
As well as offering a magical experience, The Enchantment Chamber boasts modern comforts in both its self catering kitchen and relaxing shower room facilities.
Located in a traditional mill building within the walls of the historical city of York and a stones throw from the magical setting of The Shambles; said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley. The walk from The Shambles to the entrance to the apartment complex where The Enchantment Chamber is located takes less than 3 minutes.
On entering "The Cocoa Suites" you are welcomed with a modern lobby with lift access to all floors. Located on the first floor, The Enchantment Chamber is at the far end of the building in apartment 44. Once you enter the door you are transported to the wizarding world by an entrance hall that has a distinct feel of a New York and the magical explorations a certain magizoologist.
Once you then take another step through the brick wall you are greeted by the main chamber where the dark wood, open fire (digital) rustic furniture and the magical artifacts that litter the surfaces make you feel as if you are on the set of your favourite boy wizard film.
There really is no other experience like this in York (or even the UK) The Enchantment Chamber will really make your stay every bit as magical as it should.

Parking: Sadly no parking is available at The Enchantment Chamber; however only a short walk over a footbridge is The Shambles Q Park which is ideal for secure, safe parking for your stay.
