The Cookery School at The Grand, York
Based in York’s finest hotel, The Cookery School at The Grand, York offers classes for all skill levels. The expert tutors cater to everyone from total beginners and reluctant cooks to aspiring chefs and experts looking to widen their repertoire.
Whether you’re visiting for a day, or staying with us at the hotel, you can book evening classed, from £65 per person, a half-day class from £95 per person or a full-day class from £165 per person. Parent and Child classes are also available from £65 per person.
Take your pick from a selection of classes created and led by our Head Tutor Marc Williams, from international cuisine and Modern British classics, to bread making and dinner party dining. There will also be a line-up of themed and seasonal classes, special events and guest chefs throughout the year.

The Cookery School is also open to corporate bookings, with options to book one of our existing classes or create your own bespoke team-building challenge.
