York Maze can make your special day amazing, at our truly unique, rustic barn wedding venue!!

Set in open countryside close to the city, York Maze is a fantastic rural venue, perfect for the less formal wedding or reception. When we close as a visitor attraction we take down all the maze related paraphernalia and return the site to the beautiful farmstead it naturally is. We have the perfect setting and flexibility to make your dream wedding perfect. With a fantastic barn complex you can tie the knot in rustic charm and dance the night in style!

The facilities we have are a range of brick and timber barns, connected to a south facing wooden terrace with a removable frontage. The larger timber barn has a stage at one end ideal for bands or DJ's. The barns are licenced for marriage and can seat up to 150 people for the ceremony and dining but many more for the evening function if you wish!

When you hire the maze you effectively get a 3 day hire, the day before to set up and the day after to take down any decorations, and guests are welcome to camp on site if they wish too!!

Our aim is to give you the wedding you wish for, our catering team will create your choice of menu and you can decorate the site in your own style. We give you the freedom to create your own special day. We only hold a small number of weddings each year before the summer making each one exclusive and unique.

Our fantastic adventure play area is sure to keep the little ones busy, while young and old alike will want to jump for joy on the jumping pillow! Buffet, hog roast or six course dinner, we can provide whatever you require.
