About Us
We are proud purveyors of famous ales and pies. We have a brand new homemade menu which has been carefully designed and created with excellence and is available seven days a week. We host a great selection of ales and lagers on the bar with huge bottled selection including Belgian and craft beers not to mention our cocktail menu and wide range of wines. Once you have finished your meal you can select a post dinner drink from our extensive collection of up to fifty different whiskies or our generous gin offerings. We also own a beautiful beer garden at the rear which is ideal to soak up the sun on the hot summer days. Above our pub we have several spacious double bedrooms available for Bed and Breakfast guests who fancy a couple of days i.n the great historic city of York.
