Since it launched in 2008 Jollydays has inspired a host of imitators, but none can capture the magic of this original woodland retreat, now updated with new accommodation. The camp nestles in 200 acres of pretty forest and the 4 Bothys and 4 Woodcutter Huts are well spaced and very private, their verandas all have lovely woodland views. The Bothys have amazing interiors with hand painted murals and the bathrooms are simply stunning. Open all year they have a log burner and accommodation for 2 - 6 people. Outside is a private veranda with BBQ and picnic bench with lovely woodland views.

Woodcutter huts are much bigger than shepherds huts and very cozy, these sleep 2 - 4 people and have use of our fabulous new Victorian style Bathhouse, each Woodcutter Hut has its own bathroom within, with roll top bath and shower. In the heart of the woods there is a pizza oven and a canopied campfire, to enjoy those precious starry nights under the trees. Jollydays is a haven for kids and adults alike - a chance to reconnect with nature and the simpler things in life. The woods are teaming with wildlife, several hundred species of birds including buzzards and tree creepers, we have hares, badgers and deer and early mornings are the best time to see them. Guests can book wonderful pamper treatments in their Bothys and there is a huge amount to do in the local area.

All bedding is provided and beds are made up for your arrival, feel free to bring your own towels, but we can provide them at £2 each.

Northwood Kitchen, which serves delicious local food, is open weekends and school holidays and is a couple of minutes stroll through the woods. Northwood Trail (England's Fairy and Hobgoblin Sanctuary) is our very own visitor attraction and it's free for Jollydays guests staying 2+ nights. This award winning attraction is just as popular with adults as children, it features an enchanting woodland fairy trail, with dragons nests, giant swords and a myriad of fairy houses and fairy doors.
