All those years on since ‘our Ellie’ first fired up her oven, and Warburtons is now the largest bakery business in the country. How’s that for staying power? We’re proud to say we’re still a family-owned business, actively managed by the fifth generation – Jonathan, Ross and Brett.

York is our second store to plant its Northern roots bringing deliciously fresh cake (with absolutely no artificial preservatives!), to the good people of York. Whether visitors are gifting for family or gathering with friends, eating in or taking out one of our special-blend coffees, our beautiful new store will be busy spreading ‘Our Ellie’s’ word.

We have gorgeous comfy seating areas, along with an exciting baked goods menu and extensive drinks menu including refreshing iced coffees and the ultimate hot chocolate.
