Dean’s Garden Centre is a family run business, which has been serving gardeners in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas since it was opened by Mr & Mrs Dean in 1968. The business is now run by their 3 children and we are proud of being a local, family firm with strong roots in the community.

We produce our own vegetable plants and spring and summer bedding plants from our own nursery site. Many of our staff are fully trained and are happy to share their gardening expertise. We also stock a wide range of products from trees, shrubs and roses, houseplants, composts, fertilisers, garden tools, seeds, aquatics, gifts and so much more. We also have a Coffee Shop, ‘The Bothy’. The original was opened in 1991, but due to its ever increasing popularity a new, larger Coffee Shop was opened in March 2017.
